Passionate about computing and craftsmanship, the founder of CristalTech grew up surrounded by electronic components. Fascinated by the hidden beauty of circuit boards and processors, he developed a unique technique to preserve these engineering marvels in epoxy resin.
Each coaster is handcrafted in his Quebec workshop with meticulous attention to detail. From component selection to final polishing, the complete process can take up to a week to ensure a perfect result.

Components recovered from certified electronic recycling centres in Quebec and companies upgrading their IT equipment.

Each component is inspected for its aesthetic appeal. Circuits, patterns and colours are chosen to create a captivating visual result.
3. Encapsulation
Components are encapsulated in crystalline epoxy resin. This delicate process requires precision and patience — curing time can reach 72 hours.
